A Complete Outdoor Living Transformation in Palmetto, FL
When this Palmetto homeowner came to Just Grillin Outdoor Living, they had a simple existing patio and a big vision: a true outdoor living space built for entertaining, everyday relaxation, and Florida’s unpredictable weather. Our team delivered a fully custom patio extension, screened enclosure, and outdoor kitchen designed to function as beautifully as it looks — and built to last.
If you’re picturing a similar upgrade for your own backyard, this project is a perfect example of what’s possible when experienced outdoor kitchen builders and screen enclosure specialists handle every detail from the ground up.
Seamless Patio Extension with Engineered Drainage
Rather than settling for a mismatched add-on, our team poured a new concrete patio extension and finished it with a cool deck texture and custom paint color engineered to blend seamlessly with the home’s existing patio. The result reads as one continuous, original space — not an afterthought.
Because Florida rain doesn’t wait for a convenient time, we didn’t stop at aesthetics. The extension includes:
- Integrated floor drainage around the perimeter of the new patio to redirect rainfall away from the living space
- A gutter channel system built into the screen enclosure and anchored to the home, carrying water safely to exit points along the side of the house
This kind of water-management planning is what separates a patio that looks good on day one from one that performs beautifully for years — through every Florida storm season.
Custom Screen Cage Enclosure
To protect the new space from bugs, debris, and harsh sun while preserving unobstructed views of the property’s pond and green space, we designed and installed a full screen cage enclosure. The clean sightlines and durable aluminum framing let the homeowners enjoy Florida’s outdoors comfortably, rain or shine, without sacrificing the open, airy feel that makes outdoor living spaces so appealing.
A High-End Custom Outdoor Kitchen
At the heart of this project is a fully custom outdoor kitchen designed for serious home chefs and entertainers alike. Every component was selected for performance, durability, and long-term value:
- Exterior-rated polymer cabinetry with a realistic wood-grain finish — built to withstand Florida humidity without the maintenance demands of real wood
- EVO Flat Top Gas Griddle for smash burgers, breakfast spreads, and everything in between
- Blaze Double Side Burner for sauces, sides, and stovetop prep right at the grill station
- Blaze 26″ Pizza and Grill Oven for wood-fired-style pizza nights and versatile high-heat cooking
- Custom ventilation hood positioned above the griddle and side burner to keep smoke and odors clear of the seating and dining areas
- Built-in ice maker so entertaining never requires a run back inside
Every appliance and cabinet was arranged in a layout built around real cooking and hosting workflows — not just visual appeal.
