The cleaning head is made of the same material that firefighters gear is made of making this a durable material resistant to high heat and flames. Attached to the head is a 2.1 mm thick stainless steel scraper to help get any stubborn or tough spots dislodged for a thorough cleaning. The polypropylene handle, which is food-safe, is over engineered to be strong enough that you can run it over with your car and it won’t snap.
Grill Rescue made the cleaning head detachable and dishwasher friendly to pop in and clean as needed. You can also purchase a replacement head for the brush rather than buying a new brush every time it’s needed. Grill Rescue recommends setting your grill to 400° F for optimal cleaning and longevity for the brush. Dip the brush pad in water for 2 seconds and press accordingly on your grates to clean. For tough and stubborn spots, use the scraper to dislodge most charred on remnants to avoid damaging brush scraper as scraper head wears over time.
