The Just Grillin Outdoor Living team was contracted to remodel and extend the clients existing patio to feature new pavers with a retaining wall, seating bench and wood-burning fire pit. This design-build project was an add-on to an existing home in Riverview, Florida.

The client for this project needed more space. Their current patio was a tiny concrete slab that can be seen by scrolling through the photo gallery. The client wanted the space to be designed and built large enough to accommodate future projects such as a shade structure or outdoor kitchen.

The paver patio uses complementing patio and brick pieces to create color contrast in the space. This adds a nice design element while keeping the color theme on brand with this clients’ desires. The patio slightly slopes towards the benching area where there is a central drain that feeds behind the retaining wall to keep water flowing through the area versus stagnant.
