The Just Grillin Outdoor Living team was contracted to design and remodel an existing pool patio and outdoor space. The scope of work required demolition of the existing patio and certain landscape features to add significant additional square footage to the new patio design compared to the previous footprint. This project was completed in the Tampa, Florida area.

The main goal of this client was to upgrade and extend their outdoor patio for more relaxation and entertaining capabilities. The design our team created exceeded this clients’ expectations for what their outdoor space could look like.

The client material selections for this job were in the luxury category. The client picked a travertine due to it’s upgraded appearance compared to pavers and it’s availability. The client also picked luxury in-ground lighting to line the perimeter or the patio on all sides for better illumination of the deck edges at night.

This project required a retaining wall to help extend and support the new decking. The patio was also extended to connect to the clients’ driveway allowing for a smooth, seamless transition from the front to backyard. The remaining scope of work included patio lighting installation, new fencing, new irrigation, landscape planter and sod removal and install.

The client was very happy with the transformation of their outdoor space. The client reiterated this was phase one and plans to connect with Just Grillin Outdoor Living to build a shade structure and outdoor kitchen in the future. The client also purchased an outdoor gas fire pit and Weber Gas Grill for their patio space.
