The unit features a large backlit LCD screen for easy viewing whether it’s day or night. The housing is weatherproof (not 100% waterproof) so it is okay to get wet but do not fully submerge the thermometer. Built-in magnets allow you to “stick” the Spark to a surface helping keep it out of other tools way and freeing up shelf/cabinet space.
