Hestan Grills have a unique Trellis Burner design that delivers 25,000 BTUs of power while helping spread the heat coverage evenly. On the 36-Inch Hestan Gas Grill that is up to 75,000 BTUs of high-performance power not including the 12,000 – 18,000 infrared salamander/rotisserie burner located on the roof of the inside of the grill. The design and power of the top burner eliminates the need for a lower infrared sear burner saving cooking space.
The 36-Inch model features 647 sq. in. of cooking space on the main cooking area and 236 sq. in. cooking space on the upper rack. The upper rack has three tiers for variable height placement of the rack for more control on heat exposure. This rack also can fold flat and be stored along the back end of the wall for space saving and convenience.

Horizon Hood
The hoods on Hestan Outdoor Grills are heavy-duty. Opening the lid is nearly effortless with Hestan’s exclusive spring-assisted hinges that not only make it easy to open the lid, but to let the hood rest in place at any desired height. Open the lid halfway and you don’t have to hold it in place.
Halogen Stadium Lights
Grilling in low light and at night is no problem. The stadium lights inside are located on the hood and are motion activated when opening the lid. The location of the lights helps illuminate the entire surface area when the lid is fully open.
Ceramic Infrared Burner/Rotisserie Burner
The infrared ceramic rotisserie burner is located on the roof of the inside of the grill. This placement, rather than the rear wall on other grills, allows it to be used as a salamander burner for searing steaks and other cuts of meat. The location also allows you maximize your main cooking area by using all traditional burners versus one lower infrared sear. It is a variable burner with an output of 12,000 – 18,000 BTUs.
Trellis Burner
The Trellis Burner is uniquely designed to help spread heat more evenly across the cooking area compared to u-shaped burner tubes. The Trellis Burner is T-shaped with multiple junctions spanning left to right from top to bottom providing more heat coverage.
DiamonCut Grates
The DiamondCut Grates are a laser-cut, mirrored 5/16″ stainless steel fabricated in-house by Hestan. They’re mirrored for easy cleaning. When one side is dirty, flip over to continue cooking and allow the underside to self clean. The upper racks are also DiamondCut to match the main cooking area. They also help hold heat and provide great grill marks.
Ceramic Briquette Tray
Sandwiched between the burner and DiamondCut Grates is the flip-to-clean radiant ceramic briquette trays. These trays are designed to protect your food from major flare-ups and help house the briquettes safely.
Rotisserie
The rotisserie motor is whisper-quiet. It is a chain-driven system that can spin up to 50 lbs. The rotisserie rod can be stored inside the grill on a specially placed upper lip on the roof of the inside of the grill for space saving. The forks cannot be stored here.
Warranty
Hestan Outdoor warrants to the original purchaser that the stainless steel grill body, DiamondCut cooking grates and warming rack, stainless steel Trellis burners, sear burner and rotisserie infrared burner are free from defects in material and workmanship for the Lifetime of the original purchaser. The spit rod, briquette trays, manifolds, gas valves and sealed burner assemblies are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years and Hestan Outdoor will repair or replace defective parts (excluding labor and shipping).
